At Alumet we take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously, recognising the importance of minimising the impact our operations have on the environment and society.

We operate an Environmental Management System certified according to ISO 14001 by a UKAS accredited certification body.

We have a robust Environmental Policy recognised by our Board of Directors and set annual objectives to reduce our environmental impact and work towards continuous improvement.

We have invested in new Schueco machinery which fully digitally integrates with our scheduling department reducing the potential for errors which lead to waste.

We monitor our waste outputs and work hard to ensure recyclable materials are segregated in both our factory and offices.

We are proud to report that approximately 36% of the electricity we used over the last 3 years was from solar energy generated from the photovoltaics installed on our roofs.
