Health, Safety & Quality

Health and Safety isn’t a one-time job; we take the safety of our staff seriously and have implemented a robust system to help keep everyone safe.

H&S Monitoring on site

The safety of our staff is of the utmost importance, that is why we use the following procedure to ensure high standards are maintained:

  • On site supervision by our Project Managers
  • Regular visits from our health and safety team
  • Ad-hoc visits from our Directors
  • Regular audits
  • Accident reporting procedures
  • Regular tool-box talks
Fire Training

Specialist Staff and Training

Our full-time health and safety team ensures that operations are safe across all our sites.

As well as our specialist team, we sponsor staff to complete a range of safety courses depending on their role and their needs, including:

  • Fire prevention
  • Manual handling
  • Scaffold erection
  • Forklift operation
  • Glass handling
  • Working at height

Safety equipment

We invest in reducing health risks by providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and plant and equipment, including Vacuumumatic glass lifting equipment, floor cranes, motorised pallet trucks, and hand tools fitted with dust extraction methods.

Occupational health monitoring

We ensure our staff remain healthy in the workplace and perform regular health screening tests, including audiometry, dermatitis and lung function testing.

Site inspections

Our HSE team regularly conducts site audits and attends safety coordination meetings to assist the site team in ensuring excellent health and safety performance.

Full time site management

We ensure all sites have a trained and experienced full-time site management team who work to ensure we build quality on time and safely. We also ensure all operatives are fully inducted, and all plant and equipment have the necessary certification and daily and weekly inspections.

Documentation

We provide comprehensive RAMS before commencement on site, which are compiled by the project manager in collaboration with installers and the HSE department. RAMS are then written or amended throughout the Project as work progresses.  The HSE team reviews them during site audits.

We also produce Inspection and Test Plans per our QMS.
