1992

Gary Summers purchases Alumet Systems, setup in Newbold Pacey Garden and the dream begins.

1993

First £100k project!

Gary and Brother Paul rent a 5000 ft² unit in Wellesbourne, starting a window fabrication business using various proprietary systems including Glostal, Sapa, Kawneer, & Schüco.

1996

Alumet focus on Schüco 
as primary supplier – a partnership which lasts 
to this day!

An increase in work requires larger premises. Gary buys Senator House, Southam – the site we occupy today

1998

Alumet acquires Avon Manufacturing in Warwick. 
A few employees are still with us today
Alumet invests in further units at Southam and relocates Avon Manufacturing from Warwick

Alumet win Queen’s award for innovation for design of structural beam cladding system

A second Queens Award for innovation for the design of bomb blast unitised system – a major nuclear facility for the MOD

Alumet form EOS & spitfire taking advantage of the solar panel domestic installation market – helping keep the company buoyant in recession

Alumet make strides in the UK residential market

2013

Alumet form a relationship with developer Berkeley Homes winning first project at Kensington High Street – the first twenty seven projects and £150m in turnover to date.

Covid-19 Disruption to our industry stops the stability Alumet gained during previous years – we suspended operations and explore ways to work smarter – turnover drops below £20m.

2021

Alumet bounce back 
strongly – turnover increases to £25m for the year

2022

Turnover £32m

2022 starts with great news – we win biggest order to date at Chalcots Estate further boosted with 12 Trees & WoodWharf.

2024

Turnover £35m

A further record year sees turnover hit £35m and we celebrate winning our largest curtain wall contract ever.
