Alumet's team of 11 designers use Microsoft Windows XP based PCs running Autodesk Autocad 2008 to render all the 2D and 3D modelling requirements our clients have.
Once the designs for sections are complete, they can be sent to our CNC machine in DXF file format to be manufactured.
We have built up a library of bespoke machining operations relating to
particular sections and bars. This back-catalogue reduces the time taken to
respond to contracts.
The machine's hidden
benefits mean that movement of bars within the workshop is
dramatically reduced, noise levels are appreciably lower and the
workshop is a cleaner and tidier environment.
The machine enables us to offer our clients innovative solutions to particular design requirements.
