Alumet Permanent Access is a specialist in all forms of permanent access, from manually traversed gantries and mansafe systems, to bespoke fully powered window cleaning cradle systems.

We are able to design, manufacture and install access systems to suit our clients specific requirements. Following installation we provide end users with P.P.E and train all end users in the correct operation of the equipment. Finally Alumet Permanent Access provides a comprehensive maintenance programme to ensure the system is kept in safe working condition and conforms with current legislation.

Design

Our design teams liaise with architects and main contractors to ensure the best possible solution is reached for each project. All of our products comply with the latest British and international standards including:

• EN 1808: 1999 - Safety Requirements on Suspended Access Equipment.
• BS 6037-1&2:2003 - Code of Practise for Permanently Installed Suspended Access Equipment.
• BS 5974:1980 - Code of Practise for Temporarily Installed Suspended Access Equipment.

Scheduled Maintenance and Load Testing

Even if existing permanent access equipment was not designed and installed by us, we can offer a full maintenance and annual testing service comprising of scheduled site visits by fully trained service engineers. The engineers will carry out a thorough inspection of the equipment providing a report after each visit, providing detailed recommendations should any defects be found.

Periodic testing ensures the efficient operation and stability of the equipment and on completion of successful load testing appropriate certification will be provided to comply with L.O.L.E.R legislation.

Updating and Refurbishment

Alumet Permanent Access offers a complete service relating to the refurbishment and upgrading of existing access equipment to achieve current safety regulations and improve the efficiency of the equipment.
