Corporate Social Responsibility - People

We value our people very highly. We always aim to provide an enjoyable working environment and opportunities for them to develop their careers.

Encouraging further development

Alumet encourages its employees to develop their skills and has a number of staff who are currently studying a range of qualifications. A work based training matrix is also available to help them reach their goals.

Promoting employee involvement

Employee involvement is encouraged and all managers, directors and HR staff operate an open-door policy to enable them to be available and approachable to all staff.

Suggestion boxes are available with every suggestion being reviewed by the directors. We ensure that all suggestions are responded to.

Alumet has a dedicated Human Resource manager on hand to deal with any staff issues including areas such as health & safety, training, harassment and equal opportunities. Performance rewards

We encourage hard work by offering performance related rewards. Staff are rewarded for reaching their targets with specific improvements to their working conditions. This can be in the form of increase in pay, reduction in working hours, or an increase in holiday allowances.
