Alumet picked up a Manufacturer of the Year award for the Aerospace and Defence category. The award recognised the company's success with the ABLE Facade System - a revolutionary pre-fabricated bomb-blast resistant walling system (for more details see the Services page).

 Dean Walton from Alumet collected the award from Sir Jackie Stewart. Dean had the following to say on the night:

"We're honoured to receive the Manufacturing award for Aerospace and Defence. The ABLE Facade System is without doubt the most important innovation in Alumet's 17 year history and this award recognises the hard work of our team and will certainly speak volumes when negotiating future orders."
