Gantries and Ladders

Whether you require access internally or externally, Alumet Permanent Access can provide the most appropriate solution with our manually operated or powered Gantries. A complete service is available from concept and design through to manufacture, installation and maintenance.

Our Gantries are made predominantly of aluminium and galvanised steel, and can be supplied with a PPC finish to meet our client's needs if required. Following installation we provide end users with training in safe use of the equipment and a comprehensive maintenance schedule.

Monorail System

Our suspended monorail system can be installed as a manual system, or using our Powered Liftcat. Both systems can gain safe access to both internal and external areas providing an economic solution for window cleaning, maintenance and light repair work. All vertical and horizontal motions can be controlled from within a cradle suspended from the Liftcat.

As with all the systems we install Alumet Permanent Access will provide end users with full training in the safe use of the equipment, we also offer a comprehensive maintenance schedule ensuring the equipment is kept in safe working condition and complies with current legislation.

Building Maintenance Unit and Cradle Systems

For buildings where regular maintenance is required, internally or externally, our Building Maintenance Unit offers an economic solution for window cleaning, maintenance and light repair works. All vertical motions are operated from within the cradle - horizontal, luffing and slewing motions are optional.

Following installation we provide end users with P.P.E and training in the correct operation of the equipment. In addition we offer a comprehensive maintenance programme to ensure the equipment is kept in safe working condition and complies with current legislation.

Mansafe Systems and Eyebolts

Alumet Permanent Access provides solutions for all roof edge protection problems, and can be tailor made to suit individual clients needs. Safety wire systems can be conventionally mounted or be fully counter weighted, eliminating the requirement to penetrate a roof membrane.

Cable based fall arrest systems provide unhindered and continuous access both internally and externally. A connecting device passes through the intermediate system anchorages, allowing the operative to remain attached at all times. Safety eyebolts and abseil points can also be installed to suit customer requirements. Full training for use of the system is provided following installation. In addition, we offer a comprehensive maintenance schedule.

Hand-railing

If hand-railing is considered the best option for safe access and egress, Alumet Permanent Access can both design the layout and carry out the installation. We supply architectural, tubular handrail or stainless steel rope and post systems. In addition, we can supply and install a fully counter balanced handrail system, eliminating the need to penetrate a waterproof roof membrane.
